TRUE JOY IN JESUS
God reveals that the one source of true joy is Jesus himself. As we enjoy Jesus through the Gospel - his death and resurrection - we cannot help but enjoy who Jesus is and what he has done for us..
ENJOYING JESUS
God has created us for joy in Jesus Christ. That was God's purpose - that we would enjoy Jesus. If that's true, then it means that we shouldn't follow Jesus because we have to, but we follow him because we want to! Everything at Fair Hill Church flows out of that purpose. And we enjoy Jesus through the Gospel of Jesus - his death and resurrection. Jesus has taken our sins and given us eternal life. Now we enjoy Jesus by knowing that Gospel more fully, living under that Gospel practically, and sharing that Gospel intentionally. Let's enjoy Jesus together!
KNOWING THE GOSPEL
We enjoy Jesus by fully knowing the extent of the love and grace that he showed us through his death and resurrection.
LIVING THE GOSPEL
We enjoy Jesus by living under the Gospel and out of the Gospel. Our every action is motivated by our enjoyment of him.
SHARING THE GOSPEL
We enjoy Jesus by sharing the joy that we have found in Jesus with others. Jesus is fully enjoyed when our joy in him is shared.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Here at Fair Hill Church, every Sunday we want to help you enjoy and worship Jesus. You don't need to come looking good, sounding good, or being good. Come as you are, and meet other people who are doing the same. Fair Hill Church is a family built around what Jesus has done for us. We want your first visit to come with as few shocks as possible. The hour-long service consists of coffee, annoucements, prayer, worship music, and sermon. Babies and toddlers can be checked into nursery at the beginning of the service. All kids are also welcome in the service, with Pre-K through K dismissed for a special time of teaching during the sermon.
CASUAL ENVIRONMENT
Come as you are and as you feel comfortable.
CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP
We have a contemporary worship band with guitar, piano, and drums, and we sing a variety of contemporary and modern worship songs with the occassional classic hymn.
MEDIUM CONGREGATION
We have a congregation of about 200, meeting in one Sunday service.
NURSERY & KIDS SUNDAY SCHOOL
We have a nursery staffed with background-checked caregivers for the full duration of the service. While we encourage kids to stay for the service, we offer a lesson geared towards Pre-K and Kindergarten during the sermon. Kids these ages are dismissed after music and return to the service for the final song.
JESUS-CENTERED PREACHING
Sermons are Jesus-centered, Bible-based, and Gospel-filled. Expect to hear how God shows us Jesus in specific passages of the Bible and how Jesus applies to your life.
